Čiabutis-5

Ignas Kazakevičius "Čiabutis-5", acrylic, mixed media, 15 x 20 cm.

"Čiabutis" - the name was born from the merging of the words "Here" and "Being". While creating a changing, philosophically inspiring "something", I sought to change not only the words, but also its essence, giving the being a living form.

"Čiabutis" is not only a souvenir, but also a work of art and a design object.

The author about his work:
All my cultural experiences find an echo in painting. I have been painting for over 20 years. It is not an escape from reality, relaxation, rest or anything else, just a visual form of communication. Painting is a universal diary for me, the realization that the world does not begin and end with my life or someone else's life, it ends with a horizon that begins to recede as soon as it is thought about. You will always find hints of the horizon in the paintings. Its marking is an attempt to look at one's own life, the thoughts and feelings of others from a distance. My creations are the mood of a day. It is a story about that place, where thoughts were born at that time, and precisely in the place where they needed to appear. Each work has an accompanying letter - a story, like a certificate of specific place and time coordinates.
The author is a member of the Lithuanian Union of Artists.
The author has the official status of an artist, granted by the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania.
